Lessons
Welcome to your music lesson! We have set up our lessons in a unique way to best serve all our musicians.
- Students benefit from an extended lesson time. Typically, lessons are available as a 30-minute session, but here, all lessons are 40 minutes. This time is structured to include review, technique, sight-reading, and theory.
- Students learn their music during the lesson. We will utilize the 40 minutes with a thorough review all music, sending the student home to be able to practice what they’ve already learned.
- Students gain a well-rounded education in music. We study composers, genres, music theory, and enjoy Listening Assignments that introduce us to music we may have never heard before.
- Community promotes growth. Playing and performing with other students encourages students to grow and accomplish their musical goals. Music is meant to be shared, and we enjoy sharing our music with 3 annual recitals.
- Make-up lessons are readily available. Makeup lessons are easily scheduled at no extra cost so students are provided enough instruction to reach their goals.
